The EJ Freeland Community Fitness Centre offers key services that promote health and wellness. Community members may access the Centre through a unique ‘pay as you go’ system by purchasing one of three ‘Centre Pass’ options. Offered in a family-friendly atmosphere with choice and convenience in mind, community members may purchase:
Day Pass $6.00/day
Try It Pass $60.00/12 visits
3-month Pass $144.00/3 months
*Available at the start of a month for the following 3 months
All-Ages Recreation Open Swim $6.00/person OR $8.00/family
When you purchase one of the three Centre Passes, you will have access to the following services:
- Strength training & cardio equipment (weight room) and indoor walking/running track
- Aquafit, lane swim and open swim
- Open gym time and pickleball
- Lockers, change rooms and showers
- Spas & saunas (age 16+)

Cardio Mix
Get ready to sweat, move, and feel amazing! This upbeat class blends heart-pumping cardio with strength-building exercises using a stepper and dumbbells. You’ll boost endurance, burn calories, and tone your entire body — all in one fun, energizing workout!
Strength
Boost your endurance and build total-body strength in this high-energy class that combines heart-pumping cardio with powerful strength moves. Using a small stepper, mini barbells, and dumbbells, you’ll sculpt muscle, burn calories, and leave feeling strong and energized!
Gentle Fit
This class is designed specifically for the mature adult or those who are new to exercise. This low-impact class focuses on improving strength, balance, and mobility in a safe and supportive environment. Using light weights – mini barbells, and dumbbells, you’ll build muscle, boost energy, and enhance everyday movement — all at a comfortable pace that meets you where you’re at. As with all Group Fitness classes we encourage all participants to challenge themselves by being mindful of the individual’s unique fitness level and health profile.
Functional Strength
Build real-world strength that supports your everyday life! This weight room–based class focuses on functional movement patterns using machines and free weights to improve power, stability, and mobility. Perfect for all levels, you’ll learn proper technique, increase strength, and feel stronger and more capable with every session.
Cycle Fit
Get ready to ride! This energizing indoor cycling class combines powerful cardio, endurance training, and heart-pumping intervals set to motivating music. You’ll climb, sprint, and push through challenging rides that torch calories, boost stamina, and leave you feeling strong and unstoppable. All fitness levels welcome!
Power Zone
Step into the ultimate full-body workout! This high-intensity class combines heart-pounding cardio and total-body strength with a mix of intervals, EMOMs, AMRAPs, and more. Every session is designed to push your limits, build power, and boost endurance — leaving you stronger, faster, and fitter than ever.
Fit and Funky Dance Fit
Turn up the music and have fun while you work out! This high-energy dance fitness class combines easy-to-follow choreography with upbeat music for a full-body cardio workout that feels more like a party than exercise. Boost your endurance, burn calories, and leave every class smiling and energized — no dance experience needed!
