We also offer: open swim for children, youth and their families; swim team programs; community group rentals; and aquatic fitness programs for adults.

Our Aquatic Centre features the City’s first 25 metre, 6 lane competitive indoor pool; a beach entry for accessible access; and water wheelchairs leading to a shallow teaching area. It features a non-slip smooth textured floor consisting of soft closed-cell foam mattresses which makes movement in the water more comfortable and safer.

The pool is supported by three change rooms, male, female, and family outfitted with washrooms, family change cubicles, lockers, changing areas, and showers. An additional fourth accessible change room is available for those with varying abilities.

As an authorized service provider for the Lifesaving Society of Canada, BGC provides all Lifesaving Swim programs from structured lessons for Parent & Tot to advanced aquatic certification and training.

Our Aquatic Centre features a 22 metre, 4 lane indoor pool and a walk-in entry along with a chair lift, for accessible access.

The pool is supported by five change rooms, adult male, adult female, boys, girls, and family outfitted with washrooms, change cubicles, lockers, changing areas, and showers.
