Standard First Aid & CPR-C Full Course
(10 + yrs) Fee: $129 + supplies
This course provides a certification in First Aid and Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation. The 16-hour course outlines how to deal with wounds, poisoning, head injuries, bone and joint injuries, heart attacks, and strokes. Candidates will also learn 2 man CPR for infants, children, and adults. This course is designed for professional rescuers, health care workers, and lifeguards.
Standard First Aid Re-Certification
(10 + yrs) Fee: $91 + supplies
This course will review CPR as well as severe injuries including; bleeding, broken bones, joints, head and neck injuries etc. Please review the manual before attending. Re-certification is required every 2 years.

HIGH FIVE Certification
(16 + yrs) Fee: $129
The 8-hour course is designed to help recreation and sport practitioners gain knowledge and expertise in using approaches that support healthy child development. The course focuses on how to work with a child in the recreation setting, the importance of being a good role model as well as discusses safety in recreation and programming age-appropriate activities for children 6 – 12 years of age.
The BGC Niagara was one of the first to achieve the HIGH FIVE Accreditation Organization designation in June 2006. HIGH FIVE is a quality assurance standard of Parks and Recreation Ontario, designed to support the safety, well-being, and healthy development of children ages 6-12, in recreation and sports programs. HIGH FIVE Accreditation establishes benchmarks for excellence in children’s recreation and sports programming, based on a child-focused, research-based quality framework.
