If you family is denied or not able to access funding from the above options, BGC Niagara’s Child and Youth Opportunity Fund may be able to help. BGC Niagara is committed to helping reduce financial barriers so children and youth can participate in our programs.
When funding is available, fee assistance may be offered to eligible BGC Niagara families.
Opportunity Fund Subsidy
Apply for Funding
The Opportunity Fund is designed to provide financial assistance to families with children and youth who are ineligible for, or require additional support beyond, available external funding programs (such as Regional Child Care Fee Subsidy, Jumpstart, or similar funding sources). As funding is limited, approval is not guaranteed. Subsidies may be awarded for a portion of program fees and are subject to available funding and established eligibility criteria.
Support Participation (Make a Donation)
You can be the reason a child is able to participate in sports, aquatics, recreation and day camp programs. Donations of $25 or more are eligible for a charitable tax receipt.
