Tween Zone

Tween Zone is a free program for BGC Niagara members designed specifically for youth ages 10-12. Tween Zone gives pre-teens a space of their own to connect with friends, explore new interests, build confidence, and develop skills as they grow toward their teen years.

With support from qualified BGC Niagara staff, participants will take part in age-appropriate recreation, games, sports, leadership opportunities, and other activities designed around their changing interests and developmental needs. Programming supports lifelong learning, sustained wellbeing, positive relationships, resiliency, and inspired leadership, while giving tweens greater opportunities to make choices, try new things, build independence, and develop a stronger sense of who they are in a safe and supportive environment.

Participants who attend Tween Zone will also be provided a meal as part of our Supper Club.

Tween Zone is offered at our St. Catharines, Niagara Falls, and Fort Erie locations on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 8:30 pm. While Tween Zone operates at the same time as Teen Zone, it takes place in a separate, dedicated program space with programming specifically designed for ages 10-12. Tween Zone participants are also welcome and encouraged to continue attending Kids Zone on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings.

Tween Zone is free with a BGC Niagara membership. Annual membership is just $20!
